Indiana Freezes College Tuition for Two Years
Governor Mike Braun just made a major announcement—every public college and university in Indiana is freezing tuition. That’s right! All 15 campuses, including Ivy Tech, Indiana University, and Purdue, have committed to keeping tuition and mandatory fees flat for in-state undergrads during the 2025–26 and 2026–27 academic years.
The first time in state history, all public schools have agreed to a two-year freeze at the same time. The move was made at the Governor’s request and backed unanimously by the Commission for Higher Education.

- All IU campuses (Bloomington, East, Indy, Kokomo, Northwest, South Bend, Southeast)
- Ivy Tech
- Purdue (West Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Northwest)

Haliburton Speaks Out After Achilles Surgery
Tyrese Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon in the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He underwent surgery Monday in New York and is expected to miss up to a year recovering.
From his hospital bed, Haliburton posted a raw, emotional message: “This s** sucks… I’ve worked my whole life to get to this moment and this is how it ends?”* He admitted the pain is deep—not just physically, but mentally—and yet he still apologized to Pacers fans and promised, “Watch how I come back from this.”
His girlfriend Jade Jones showed love on IG: “We’re not finished yet.”
Tyrese, we see you. We love you. Indy will be right here when you’re ready to ball again.
