Ever since the premier of Fox’s hit series “Empire,” Jussie Smollett recently talked about how his career took off. Not only did Smollett do an awesome job season 1,  but his character as Jamal turned out to be groundbreaking and very inspiring.

Smollett on being an international superstar:

“It’s pretty insane, and I talk to all these beautiful viewers online all the time, on Twitter and Instagram, especially Twitter,” he tells us. “And, it’s all around the world, now. I get Instagrams and Tweets everywhere from Australia to Kenya. That’s pretty spectacular. It’s just been a blessing, man. It’s been unreal.”
